Alright, I was playing an Emporer style difficulty game, and it was going well up until around 1400 AD. It was a very unusual game, I started on a continent entirely by myself, and my first military action wasn't until after 1000 AD, which was taking a two city island away from the Egyptians. Well, shortly after I began my conquest of the Aztecs, I was attacked, out of the blue, by the Incans. Luckily, I had saved the game recently, so I went back in time to just before the attack occured to figure out if there was anything I could do.
Here are some peculiarities I noticed:
1. The Incan leader was 'pleased' with me before the attack and was trading resources with me before the attack. Strange that he would travel halfway around the world to attack me.
2. His dropoff fleet consisted of 3 Galleons and 3 Frigates.
3. While they were on the ships, he had a total of 9 land units. It did not list a 'more...' sign under the units while they were in the fleet.
4. However, when he dropped the units off, he dropped off 18 land units! How could this be?
