T1: 1345AD Attack on Newcastle: Bombard with lots of arty and destroy a bunch of city improvements but dont hurt the defenders very much; Army kills ¾ infantry; Cav army dies to ¾ infantry; elite* cav kills ¾ infantry; 7 more cav later (only 1 dies!) and the city is ours with 4 workers and its furs.
Load 4 4/4 cav into army and move it to Hastings; the additional lux resource allows me to fire a bunch of clowns and taxman, boosting production and gpt. No good deals available.

York population had dropped dramatically in the last 2 turns (11 to 7). Begin bombarding York with large stack of arty: destroy SE, Market, Lib, Uni, Bank, kill 5 citz, and take off 7hp from defenders; Attack 2/4 inf with cav army and win (-10hp); vet cav attacks 2/2 rifle and wins; vet cav attacks ½ inf and wins; vet cav attacks ¼ inf and wins, taking the city + 2 workers and 29g; capture 2 more outside the city
Move some cav into position to take Reading.

T5: 1365AD 100g from next steal so I see what trades are available: nada, most I can get is 79g from Egypt and 15g from Arabs for valuable lux. Instead, I create a colony on 1 fur tile and then sell it to China for WM & 652g; Trade coal to Spain for 10gpt & 247g.
Steal: try a careful steal for 2414 vs china and it works! Take Radio, hoping someone is researching flight
T6: 1370AD Move arty into postion for last English city
Trades: Egypt: WM + 103g for our Silks; Arabs: WM + 1gpt + 20g for Silks
IBT: England and Egypt sign peace
T7: 1375AD Bombard Norwich, stop after only 2 reg inf are redlined; vet cav kills inf; vet cav kills inf and we take the city + 64g + Strong English are destroyed. Unfortunately, so was the harbor (not by bombard but it destructed when I took the city)
Move giant group of arty & army, etc, down to Cadiz
WW drops of significantly, allowing lux slider to go to 0 and we get + 432gpt after I also fire as many clowns as possible. Should be able to steal a tech sooner rather than later.
T8: 1380AD Build some stuff. Trades: Arabs: Silks, WM, 16gpt, 46g for Combustion (hope they go for flight); Try to trade for flight from China but they will not sell.
T9: 1385AD
Trade available from China for flight: WM, 443gpt, 1542g. We make 502gpt and have 1547 in the bank. Everyone else on this planet is broke. No time like the present so I do it! We get

However, another trade with China available: They will not trade fission but I can send them Computers for Amp War, WM, 214gpt, 10345g so I do it! At 100% research, it will take us 16T to get Fission, not enough time so I go for a safe steal for 3276g and we get it!!!! They only have Fission and this is what I want

Now, I need to get everyone on my side. Gift 200g to Egypt, she stays polite; gift 200g to Arabs, he stays polite; gift 200g to Aztec, he goes from Annoyed to Polite. Also, build an embassy there. I dont have a chance with Spain but she is already at war with China so we should be ok if Chinas the other one. I cant really do anything else since Egypt is at war with both the Arabs and Aztecs. I really wish China would declare on her as well, but this is all I can do for now.
Per the score, we are #1 at 2550, with Spain #2. Spain is at war with China, Aztecs, and Arabs so if they are the other vote, this game should be in the bag.
