No, but then there's always the occasional outbreak of newbieness... :lol:

Besides, the Civ3 mods got their hands full, covering quite a few forums and underlying subforums.

As Chieftess can attest, when I first heard about this, my response was flabbergasted!

Obviously, TF isn't looking for people who are great at Civ3. If he were, there are many others who would be ahead of me. (Or maybe they knew better and bowed out! :lol: ) Actually, I think that the fact that I have raised two children, and am helping raise 3 (soon to be 4) grandchildren, combined with the fact that as a retired USAF Master Sergeant I have worked with more than my share of "children", from newbie Airmen to newbie Lieutenants, probably played a role. ;)

@Killer: it was in the back of my mind, but like I said in PM, 23 years of military service helped a lot, too.

@Crazy Eddie: I may need to "steal" that "Banned" smiley! :lol:

@Yoda Power: What Killer and K-D said is correct. There are a lot of subforums, and therefore a *lot* of threads in Civ3. CT has been effectively the only mod there for a while. She needs some help/backup! :D

This is not something I asked for, but if TF and company think I can do the job, I don't intend to disappoint them. :D

I wonder if Padma's Army experience will affect the number of out of line posters. I can already imagine him, rather than banning, telling people to start doing push-ups...
