Conquest Scenerio Crash at end of Game

Whenever I complete one of the conquest scenerios and I get to the screen that displays all of the victory conditions and how I won or lost, the game crashes so I am never able to really complete the game. What should I do about this? I have civ3 complete and the patch conquest v 1.22 although I read that I don't really need it.

Hi joelgf, welcome to CFC.

Have you tried a reinstall? It sounds like the game might've not fully installed, so when it looks for a file at the end of a game, it can't find it.

Hi i'm new here as well and have been searching through the stickys and searching the forms but i'm having the same problem. I have uninstalled civ3 complete and reinstalled it and still have the same problem. I updated my video drivers, and turned off my items running in the background to see if it would help but the game still crashes at the end of every conquest mission when it goes to the very last stat screen it just locks up. I can play and complete the regular civ3 games, just conquest missions lock up.

I did check it out but couldnt' find anything, i'll look some more and see what comes up, thanks.

it is in the bug section I finaly found it after searching forever, thanks for the help though, if any one looks at this for help just uncheck the read-only flag on the Civ3 folder that fixes this problem!! sweet

I think I now have the solution but I waned to confirm I have to un-check the "read only" from the "Civilization lll Complete" folder?

It is the "Civilization lll Complete" folder and make sure you say yes "to all files and sub folders."

correct the civ3 complete folder and say yes to all files and sub folders.
CIV3 complete programming dudes suck. I dont' know why they wouldn't of checked this stuff out prior to releasing the civ3 complete
