Hi, I wonder if anyone ever tried to adopt tricks used by Tom2050's to his own mod, so you can play an epic mod from the "New Game" menu option? I am having difficulties with soundtrack even if I copied all his folder's structure only swapped tracks but left original names.

Really? No one knows? I made accidentally small step and don't how is it possible and why. The soundtrack is on in game but only when I play AI civs with no techs attached. When I change to regular civs again my soundtrack is off and I can listen only Firaxis music.

(shrugs). Should work as you have been doing. But, if you removed the tracks from the main root, to allow for yours, then why would the game be finding the track it needs to? as it doesnt exist?
The game should find the tracks because I keep the same folder structure, and folders and track names, as in original game.

You intend to use the New Game option, which means it searches for specific name files. If you replaced those files (by whatever means), by allowing your custom files to be loaded by the game instead, then why would the game read the original game files? The game cannot read files that do not have its proper name, or do not lie in their proper folder. If the default sound files are not in the "sounds" folder, but in another folder with (default) added to its name, then that is supposed to remove it from the game's load paths (or even rename each original file). If they are still registering in the game, then you have done something wrong (well obviously you know this, as it has not worked). The game cannot play files that are not there. You say you replaced the original files with yours, then the original files would not be read, as they cannot.
