I'm considering buying a downloadable version of CIV IV complete...this would be my second copy. But I am reading some posts of others who advise against it. Those posts are OLD though. Any new info available. Should I just go to the store and get a disk copy?

Generally the problems with digital copies are either due to:
buying a mix of digital/disc or a mix of digital vendors,
or buying the digital copies and then losing the activation details or not being able to activate with direct2drive after they were sold.
Personally I purchased a complete copy from a steam sale for about £2.80 when my discs died and have had no trouble.
