Robo Magic Man said:- Why the gameboard pieces? Wouldn't a mad scientist actually running aroud look better than a cardboard square with a face on it? I'd even help with unit skins if you wanted to use 3d people...
Quick mass production. I'd need a lot of new 3D models and I don't want to rely on other to do them. Plus, the models I'd need are pretty exclusive to this mod, thus not really in high demand. Who else would want a "Lee Harvey Oswald" or "Freemason" unit?
Keep in mind, I'm not going traditional civ here... more of a "board gamey" feel. I wanna go outside the box... the nice, warm box.

Sounds like a good random event.
Robo Magic Man said:- Also, a unit suggestion: Sattelites used for spying and/or shooting lasers at their enemies (I once saw a guy in Washington, D.C. standing outside the Capitol building handing out sheets describing the mysterious sattelites that "invisibly penetrate walls and hurt every part of my body".)
Yeah... I hate when that happens. Yes, Satellites are already in (check the tech tree, there's a satellite tech). As for function, I think they'll have uber-mind control abilities (i.e. bombarding city defenses from above... like a bomber?). Thanks for the interest and the ideas

@Padmewan
Looks good... that's what I had in mind. I haven't had time to work much on this lately. As for terrian, I'm still not sure about using terrain or buildings for production... I'm kind of waving back and forth
