Does anyone still play coop games? I used to play coop games a lot with my friend, but this was Civ 4. With Civ 6 it seems quite a hassle. Because of the 1UPT both players attacking the same city is very challenging for logistic reasons. Also, the strategy of one of us going for a non-military victory and the other defending both empires is difficult because you can't gift units to each other, and you can't travel your units through your friend's cities. You can use each other's eurekas, but this needs quite extensive communication. Does anyone have any solutions to make coop play more fun? Are there any mods around that might help?

I still find cooperative play extremely fun when I'm able to play (which sadly isn't so much, it's very hard for me to find players who want to play together). I feel you just play normally, but you have a lifelong ally and friend with you. I've never really had difficulty in wars or anything, and I don't really understand what you mean about defending both empires, because my friend and I usually can defend ourselves, but I'll happily send units if he or she is really struggling against a stronger computer player.
