corruption ruining my games

Ok, supposedly new games post patch would have better corruption/waste.

I'm in a large (not even huge!) world, have Democracy and -every- wonder. I have courthouses in every city.

And I'm running all-but-one-shield-and-wheat corruption in any city farther than about 15 squares away from my capital.

Hello? Firaxis? Anyone home? If you didn't mean for us to play huge worlds, then just freaking limit the map size. This corruption is crippling and makes the game a not fun thing to do.

I keep saying I'm going back to Alpha Centauri...

Try starting a new game. Corruption won't be changed much in pre-patch savegames...

Hey tigergirl,

You can try creating a new scenario to play in..editing the Pyramids for instance to give you a Forbidden City in every city you have, maybe even a Palace!

That would curb the corruption for you..and leave the AI corruption-ridden..
