Council Vote - Addendum to Section J

In an effort to see how we would determine if someone was actually MIA I found that Plexus made no posts between July 1 and July 16. He has made a few posts since July 16 but none in the demo game forums. So I pmed him. Here is his reply:

Governor Plexus,

Why have you abandoned Ameri?

Well, lets see: I have a very sick grandmother, a girlfriend, and my gaming design company, i am moving (again), and i just really don't spend that much time on the computer anymore, it's not that i don't want to, it is that i can't, I'm sorry but I just can't be governor anymore, I haven't told anyone because i have been in Hawaii, on vacation. If you could tell the community, I will be grateful. I don't want to do this but i have to, maybe when I am in my new house I will come back, until then, sorry pal.

I have forwarded this message to several members of the government who I hope will vouch for it's authenticity. I offer this in evidence of Plexus's resignation as Governor of Ameri.

Given the governor's resignation the constitutional issues brought up earlier no longer apply to the case of Ameri. While I still think the proposed section J change is unconstitutional we can wait on the Judge Advocate's judicial review. In the mean time we can unanimously welcome Governor Lovro!

The other members of the bench having posted their Reviews, I will now do likewise.

I find that the Standard does not conflict with the Constitution, Code of Laws or Code of Standards.

The Judicial Review being complete and the tally being 2 Aye and 1 Nay, this Standard shall be merited as a valid adendum to the Code of Standards.
