Crash During age change

My civ3, patch 1.29 crashes during my second gold age.. tried reloading and reloading and even saved the turn before age and reloaded from there.. nothing seems to work.. dont want to reinstall it but willing to do that =(

i would search this forum but my search is all messed up and i dont feel like browsing through thousands of posts..

Maybe the era change graphic is missing. Is your game modded in any way?

i remember my game crashed after i went from medieval to industrial, i was told it was because of a patch! but it seems you have the up to date one, so, sry cant help you!

No, I have no mods or anything.. I just recently installed it again and just installed the newest patch... I'm reluctant to reinstall =(

backup ALL custom files, re-install the game, then re-install AND re-download the patch
