i've been playing an epic game on a large lakes map over LAN with one friend.
i just completed a tech (i forget which one) and my new turn starts and asks me which new tech i would like to start researching (options are guilds, theology, civil service, and a couple others). as soon as i pick a tech it crashes on my computer and only my computer.
this is the second game we've tried that it crashes to desktop. in the first game, it again crashed to desktop when i picked a new technolgoy. i forget which tech that was but i think it was around the same time period.
i've tried:
changing video settings, resolution, etc.
disabling sound
updated drivers
cleared cache
loading up game on just this computer via hotseat.]
changing those 4 options in the .ini file (allowscreenshots=0,sync??=1,enablelogging=1,and 1 other)
clicking "let's see the big picture". if i click it i am able to view the tech screen just fine. but once i pick a tech it crashes.
i attached all the logs. thanks a lot for any help.
