Hi, I have spent some time searching the forums but can't see anything that appears to help my situation.
My civ game crashes quite regularly. Goes to windows with "Civ 5 has encountered an error....send / no send" screen.
I have three theories on what is triggering the crash:
1) leader screens - It appeared to be an issue particularly when entering the leader screen. However more recently this doesn't seem to be such a problem.
2) starting new game - Now it mostly happens when I am starting a new game. It crashed after launching a new game during the speech intro about the race I've selected.
3) steam - it seems to me that I often get a steam news flash or some sort of steam activity immediately after the crash. I may be imagining this.
it will run fine for a day, then crash ever 5-10mins another day.
It also occassionally crashes randomely at the end of a turn. but not often, and civ has always been unstable
I am running windows with Dx9. My comp all meets spec as far, I have all the graphics setting set to high and it runs quick and smooth.
Appologies if this is covered but i can't find it and appologies also that this is a fairly broad question.
Cheers - CF
