Crashing at a specific year

The game automatically crashes to desktop with no error messages whenever the game (any game, any civ, any map) reaches 325AD.

I'm just running the vanilla game, patch 1.74

3.2 ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor
2 gigs RAM
Windows XP home edition
Radeon X600 256mb

anybody know of a workaround?

I was crashing at 945AD everytime. I did this http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=164770&page=2 as it's really simple to do and easy to change back if there's a problem. I would leave the memsaver set to 0 as I believe that was the cause of my last CTD. I was getting a virtual memory error however so you may not have the same results. But like I said it's easy to change back so you might as well try it. Good luck.
