Downloaded and installed new patch 1.52 and I still crash with...
'Sid Miers Civ 4 encountered a problem' send report to Microsoft dialogue
As before, ONLY at the blue multiplayer set-up screens ie. Multiplayer lobby or staging room.
If I ever host or join a game, as soon as it's running I NEVER crash. It will run for 6 hours and be fine. Just those pesky blue set up lobbys/screens giving my computer problems
What could be up with the Civ 4 blue Menu systems that would cause this?
Could it be to do with the big rotating Earth graphic in the background?
Athlon 2400+ XP, 1Gb RAM, ATI Radeon 9000 with latest drivers (also tried old drivers), latest Direct X, all windows updates, 2Mb Broadband, tried reinstalling game etc. Using lowest graphics settings.
