Crime rate... what does it actually do

Hey guys

Now I've absorbed FfH properly, having played several games, I am wondering what the exact effects of crime rate are, and how do you view a city's overall crime rate?

The crime rate affects the events that can happen in the city and where the ratcatchers guild has it's headquarters.

You can see the crime rate if you hover the mouse over the city name , the box that pops up should have crime rate listed somewhere near the bottom

Crime rate doesn't do much atm. AFAIK its going to affect whether you get certain ''crime'' events or not.

It's more so crime events will show up in the cities you would expect to see more crime in so it is less random.

having the ratcatchers guild headquarters in your city does'nt do anything though, its just cosmetical

Ratcatcher's is supposed to give you extra options during events. Though events on the whole are not complete or running smoothly yet.

It does give you extra event options. for example, when bandits steal your food you can choose to take a cut of their profits and look the instead of trying to hunt them down or just losing food.
