CTD when trying to connect to C2C multiplayer game

Hello, sorry to trouble you all with this, but I'm stuck with a problem that I can't figure out.

My friend keeps getting a CTD when he is connecting to the C2C game I am hosting.

Everything worked fine with a version I made from the SVN version I got a week or two ago, but with the 19 release we don't seem to be able to get a multiplayer game on the road.

I Should add that we are trying earth maps, the one included for 28 Civs, and a scenario I made with 7 Civs from a random allocation map.

We have had a lot of trouble getting multiplayer and mods to work for him, and found that it was all due to AVG12, but this one doesn't seem to get solved by temporarely disabeling 3th party software ...

I should also mention all these maps work fine for me single player, and there seems nothing wrong with them.

Any help with this is very much appreciated.

Do you have the patch DLL installed (patch thread, end of first post now)? If yes, then please post the minidump created when it crashes.

The OoS log is important for debugging synchronization issues (for which you need the log from both players though).
But if I got you correctly you don't have an OoS issue but instead he crashes.
With the patch DLL there should be a minidump.dmp file in the BtS exe folder (usually same place as the OoS log appears) of the player who crashes.
Please post that file.
