Cultural Wins...?

hi all, new to the game and first time poster


anyway, ive been trying to acheive cultural wins, and i was wondering why the requirement for legendary status is 75000 when in the manual and online the victory condition is states as three cities with 50000. i have met the aformentioned requirement, and have not been given victory... what gives?

AggMaster, the cultural victory limit depend on the game speed:
at standard game speed, you have to get 3 cities to 50.000 legendary status.
At epic game speed, you have to reach 75.000 for each city.

And at Marathon it´s even 150.000

You will find that reality and manuals disagree quite often. You have to hit legendary in 3 cities, and 75k is the setting on the epic speed.

Wouldn't it be nice if it told you the requirement in-game for those of us who forget which speed setting we're on...

I believe it does on the Victory Conditions page. And there's also a panel that will tell you what speed you're on (game settings I think).
