Ok since the other quiz has reached about 200 replies and its my turn to ask I opened this one.

So the "rules" are like in the History Quiz.

-It would be nice if we put numbers to our questions.
-Ask a question only after you've given the right answer to the one before. If you are not sure if your answer is right WAIT for confirmation.
-Oh and one last thing. If you have answered correctly don't leave the thread with no question for a very long time.

How about Islands of Kuril Archipeligo (Kunashir, Iturup, etc). I believe there are still claimed by the Japanese and held by the Russians.

Nope, not Ixtacchiutl (3rd highest in Mexico). As a hint, the mountain is named after someone involved with Cortez's conquest of the Aztecs.
