Since the other Cum. Quiz has almost reached 200 replies I think its time to open a new one....

So here it is....

Question 1: In end of thirty years war, 1648, did the swedish army come to prague. the swedish force was to small, just about five thousand men, to brake through the city wall of prague. however, they got in and plundered and took things for a enormous value. How did they get in?


BTW I think it would be nice if we put numbers to our question and also to put then in bold. Its not difficult to do. So lets do it.

Answer: Actually there were two treaties. France was given the right to keep the Alsace (exept Strasbourg), the Brisash and the Pignerol which she had already conquered during the war.

I guess this is correct...

Question 3: Wellington was prince of *** (the principality of ***)

This wasn't actually what I was looking for and I think that Edward Island was not a principality. Wellington was name Prince of Waterloo by the King of Holland after his victory.

If anyone cares to answer my question they may, this is the only time I have Participated in your game, and I may again -- But we all know it's about knowledge and not who gets the answers wrong or right

The leader of the Brownshirts, Ernst Rohm, desired to have the SA absorb the German Army in 1934. In June (I'd have to look up the exact date), after a direct warning that Hindenberg might decalre martial law and have the German Army clean up Hitler's SA, Hitler ordered the purge of the SA, and its stormtroopers.

Heinrich Himmler and his SS was the instrument of destruction of Rohm and the SA.

BTW, a month after the private army of Brownshirts were eliminated, Hitler declared Nazis were the only political party in Germany, and the next month, August 1934, he proclaimed himself Fuehrer when hindenberg died... the rest (as they say) is History...

Well, looking at who's asked, and who's answered, I'm getting bloody confused.

Maybe it's time to start with another question. AZ asked the last question; and but half an answer ... I think that where the confusion started (???).

Why can't people in this forum follow some simple rules?

If we had maybe this confusion would have been avoided..........
