Britannian Expansion
United Britannian and Roman forces have pushed home their advantage against the Pictish tribes in the region who seem near defeat. Unbeknownst the attackers, Pictish warriors have launched a powerful counterattack southwards into Britannian-held lands. While not cut off, the Romans and Britannians will need to defeat this attack before suppressing the Pictish resistance.
The Britannian landings in Ivernia, have met with limited success, as most of the local kings are hostile to the Britannian people. However, no fighting has yet broken out.

Bohemia Surrenders
Without aid from the Romans, Bohemia has collapsed entirely, its capital sacked and pillaged by Langobardi conquerors. The King of Bohemia is still at large, but the nation is wiped away. The Franks, however, are displeased with the way bohemia has been divided, and the Frankish-Langobardi alliance has collapsed.

Explorations in the North
Adventurous Scandian sailors have discovered a small chain of islands that they name the Faroe Islands. A small storm destroys a few of the ships on their return journey, but the Scandians have successfully established a colony on the islands.
On the mainland, the Scandians have met the Swedish people to their east, who have also settled down and established an agrarian society in the warmer climate.

Iberian Civil War
The Iberian Celts have abandoned all forays into Hispanian territory to deal with threats at home as a rogue warlord rises up and attempts to seize control within the nation. Iberia is currently divided between the ruling Kings faction and the new warlord.

Pushing home their advantage against the Berbers, Afrika has successfully defeated a large Berber army and seems to be preparing to conquer what is left of Berber territory. However, the surviving Berbers have banded together in an attempt to repulse the Afrikans.

The Avars Migration Halts
Though the Hellenic and Roman forces are both elsewhere occupied, the Avars have ceased their incursions into foreign territory for fear of counterattack.
Rome joins the Gothic Wars
Roman forces arrived on the scene along the shores of the Danube River, fighting alongside Hellenic forces. However, the Romans, unwilling to follow the Hellenic plan of merely holding the river, make a series of disastrous attempts to cross the river. While the fourth and final attempt to cross the river was successful, Roman losses are very heavy and Visigothic losses very light. The heavy Roman losses are not good for morale and Roman confidence slips.

Disaster in the Crimea
While the Hellenic Empire diverts most of its forces to the Crimea and other fronts, the Ostrogoths have been planning a nasty surprise. Luring a large band of Hellenic troops in a fire circle, the Ostrogoths have succeeded in burning an entire Hellenic division alive. Those Hellenic troops not part of the massacre have retreated further south on the peninsula and the peninsula seems won.

Crushing Blow to the Ostrogoths?
In a daring attempt to seize the capital of the Ostrogothic Kingdom and put a fast end to the long war, the majority of Hellenic army arrived in merchant ships at the docks of the city. The King of the Ostrogoths was no fool and had garrisoned the city well, but not well enough to restrain the immense Hellenic force one hundred thousand strong. The Ostrogoths have been driven from the city and their entire navy destroyed. The capture of the Ostrogothic capital has greatly raised confidence in the Hellenic Emperor.

Stalling on the Persian Front
The Persians and Hellenic-Egyptian forces have fought to a standstill along the River Tigris. Both sides have hunkered down and neither has launched any attacks, so there are no significant losses for either side.

All of Judah is conquered but Jerusalem itself. The Egyptians have settled down for a long siege and it is not likely that the city can hold without a miracle.

Events in India
Allied, forces force from Vakatas and Gupta have swept south into the nations of Ceras and Cholas, beheading the local ruler and defeating the majority of the military. Pandyas has sent aid to the remaining forces in Cholas, but neither Cholas nor Ceras looks like it will hold. The King of Pandyas knows that his lands are next and has signed an alliance with the Sinhalese the defending against Vakatas and Gupta.

Wu and Shu Invade Wei
The smaller but better trained and equipped Shu and Wu nations have invaded the largest of the Chinese Kingdoms, Wei, which has become weak and decadent in the years since the collapse of Han. Both sides made considerable gains and many in Wei believe that the dynasty has lost the Mandate of Heaven. On the Korean peninsula, the Koguryans have also driven the Wei from Korea, but no major battles were fought.

Rise of Yamato
In Japan, the Yamato family has established itself as the ruling family of all of Yayoi Japan and has made peace with the violent Ainu to the north. They have launched an invasion of the Korean kingdom of Silla and demand that the Sillans pay them tribute as a vassal state. So far, Yamato influence on the mainland in small, but it may increase.
Other Notes
The Gupta and Shu people have met each other and a mountain culture between them, the Tibetans. The South Asian and East Asian nations now have contact with each other.
