it's 10 for micro chips but when i get 10 i'll have them to not con. though no lumber

I've already got Construction, Steel, and Microchips.

I need to re-negotiate my deals with someone so I can get my fine jewelry back. (in progress)

Aid payments are slowly but surely being sent out. I am only allowed 4 foreign aid slots, and some of the aid I recieved are still active. Once they are cleared I will keep repaying my debts, so far I have only repaid Stylesj.

What group are you in?
red The Iron Federation (the is part of the name)

My military is about to be unusually strong. I think I need someone to invade...

Never mind, I'm back to normal. Its a shame to be such a small nation. It doesn't take that many soldiers to make an army that makes people unhappy.

You need between 20% and 80% to keep your population feeling secure, but not oppressed.

Whom can you go to war with again? Anybody, or does he have to be stronger than you?

I wanted to know that myself, I just play it safe and go with anyone on your rankings screen.

Ofcourse as long as they are not in peace mode.

After some calculations I found that you can get up to 95% off initial infrastructure purchases, and it is not actually that hard.
Here are my calculations:
Resources
-10% marble
-8% lumber
-5% iron
total for resources: 23%
bonus resources
-5% construction
-2% steel
total for bonus resources: 7%
improvements
-60% five factories (-12% each)
gov. type
-5% monarchy*
TOTAL FOR ALL REDUCTIONS: 95%

* I say monarchy because even if your citizens dislike it the +1 happy bonus should probably offset the happiness penalty (it did that for me at least), but their are others that offer that reduction as well.

This is not an impossible goal, my nation is 43 days old and I am fairly well on my to completing the goal, it could have happened faster if certain unfortunate (sp?) things didn't happen.

Cool.

The only things I don't have, is the Monarchy, and 4 factories.

You can swich to Monarchy right now, you don't really have to worry about the happiness penalty because monarchy overrides it, and also it might be that you don't have to even swich to that. If you tell me what your gov. type is I can tell you if you need to swich or not, or you can look it up yourself by clicking on cybernations wiki going to "how to play" then clicking "government type" then looking up your government type on the chart and seeing if it has an infrastructure deduction bonus. The link to cybernations wiki is at the bottom section of the left colomn.
p.s. you probably know this but for everyone who doesn't, you can change your government type by going to "edit my nation" in the left hand colomn. There you'll find you can change you gov. type.

Today the Nation of Pontbridge will have a harbour! And two new resources to boot! :D

Hi all.

This probably qualifies as threadjacking, but I have two questions I'd like to ask the venerable Cybernations veterans.

1) what effects does different government types have on the game, other than making your people happy if it's the type of govt they want.

2) brothers, can you spare ten thousands dollars?

By the way, my nation is Durkar, ruled by a more violent version of myself called The Tax Collector, 22 days old, not associated with any alliance, 0.83 technology, 20.99 infrastructure, 166 soldier, 236 citizens.

Not really. I kind of switched yesterday, so I'll have to wait for a few days. (Federal Government)

EDIT: Don't need to apparantly. Oh well.
