i'm thinking of putting together a 4e D&D campaign with ffh as the setting. but before i get started i'd like to know what people think. is anyone interested in this? and if you are, tell me something that you'd like to see included in the campaign. doesn't matter whether it's places, people from the lore, rules, spells, themes, wars, anything

Play by post? Also, how did you adapt FFH to 4E? I couldn't invest the time to adapt anything to it unless you rename everything and roleplay it.

the beauty of 4e is that game mechanics and descriptions of actions in the story are separated far more than in 3rd. u use the 4e system as is, and as players see fit rename and change descriptions of how spells, attacks, and classes function. not every time they use it, but when they pick the ability give it a designated description using common sense and fitting it in with ffh if the player feels the need to. the way i see it, there's really no need to adapt in my opinion. and yeah i was thinking play by post.

That is interesting. But I have to ask, will we have to buy the rule books or something insane like that?

And how will you work out the dice rolls?
