I'd play more D&D if I had more time, but I don't. It's all I can do to squeeze out a few hours a week for computer games. I used to game (D&D) weekly, but my schedule just wouldn't allow me to guarantee that I could game on a regular basis.

I always liked the looks of Rifts. I've got a number of the books, but have never actually played it. The game doesn't seem to have a "standard power level" the way most games do. My impression was always that you sort of had to decide the "power level" of your campaign on the front end. A party made of of 2 mind melters, a cyborg headhunter, a ley line walker and a rogue . . . well, one of these is probably destined for a short life span. Wanna guess which one? On the other hand, if you put everyone on the same footing at the beginning, you could make it work.
