To me the biggest loss of the wiki is the little blurbs that people like Daladinn put up. I apologize for not including the other players but I unfortuanately don't remember the names.
But you could go for example to Calabim and there'd be a little blurb on how to play them and what they had synergy with etc.
Has this been duplicated anywhere? I've been trying to find new things to do with the game. My main things I like are the Sheim/AV combo but I also like going Sidar and tagging onto people's religions then stealing their heroes and turn them into shades before I convert to another religion.
I also found that Calabim is a lot of fun but I'm having trouble perfecting them. I gather that farms aristocracy is a good way to go but I found that if I don't rush writing in my games I far so far behind in tech behind my friend that I get crushed. Conversely if I get writing first he has the same problem. This seems awfully ugly.
Are the old wiki's how to play with x civ tips replicated anywhere now that its gone?
