There was this old adventure game called Dark Seed, which featured art by no other than the famous H.R.Giger, and naturally it had a plot about aliens. The aliens- from what i read- were in a parallel dimension.
I have played very little of the game, at first it seemed interesting but from the part of the walkthrough i saw on Youtube it suffers from some weird player decisions, and abilities.
For example the player can only exit the house- at least in the beginning- by climbing down a rope, and then can re-enter it in that way. But the main character is a bulky individual who no one would consider to be so athletic.

Anyway i plan to give the game another chance. Anyone have played it and can comment on its worth? :)

It's not terrible, but the gameplay is based around trial and error, and not in a fun way. If you don't use a walkthrough, you'll probably have to start the game over 10+ times (or savescum like hell) because of some obscure decisions you have to make. These wouldn't be as much of a problem if you could see their impact immediately, but some of them screw you in the last third of the game, which is just cheap.
So, play it if you want to see some cool Giger artwork, otherwise pass.
