DBear02--Jerusalem

It's very strange SFrancisco didn't flip still. It must flip sooner or later.

We shouldn't have switched to Feud anyway. Republic is the government of choice and we aren't religious. Every switch will be about 5 turns of zero research, zero culture and zero shields.

Lullaby--at the time I switched to Feud, we had small towns, and Republic would've killed us with military support payments. Now that we have some infrastructure, we can probably afford Republic. I would wait a bit before switching, though. As long as we're the tech leader and making money, we should be ok.

Too much stuff going on. I'm dropping down to one SG for now. It's been fun, but I know I won't be able to keep up. I'll be lurking while I'm at work, though, to see you all get to 20k!

Thanks and sorry.

Aegis_Shield hasn't posted a got it in three days in LLL1. Don't wait for him too long.

OK, then I will play now (it is perfect timing for me, next day or two it will not be very convenient for me to play my turns), so if Aegis is ready to play, we'll just switch.

Lurk...

Actually I think your culture goes to 50%.

De-lurk...

Wow, cities are MMed very good, I have nothing to improve.
Well done DBear

India asks for MA against America+RoP
I say no to MA but sign RoP and they pay 17 gold
Looks like India takes higher ground on americans with their war elephants.
Germans finish leo's :(

760 AD (1)

Hastings market-->musket
Astronomy due in 1 turn-->sciense 20%
Switch Jerusalem to university wasting 169 shields
Lux slider 20% so that Canterbury remains happy
Americans have Chemistry, all other civs have nothing up.

IT

We have Astronomy, start MT at 80% (due in 10 turns)
Jerusalem builds University, starts Copernicus'
Bombay temple-->rax
Barbaria lib-->rax
Seems like there's no place to settle on spanish continent.
I think we have to switch to rep. I'm gonna take a risk.
We will build vital wonders soon and then there will be no time to riot.
We descend into dark age.

780 AD (3)

Manage clowns and scientists
India has chemistry too

IT

Germans finish Zulu

790 AD (4)

Spain has chemistry

800 AD (5)

810 AD (6)

Move troops to border cities

I think we should switch to JB's immediately. It is much better than Copernicus' as we don't have luxes
and it's 2 cpt more. Let AI build Copernicus'

You've gotta be kiddin' me. The ONLY turn that would prevent Jerusalem from switching to Cops & someone gets it? Damn...

Bach's should have priority over Copernicus. Newton's after that, then Shake's. The last two depend on research situation. Shake's is a must have, but ToG is usually researched first and we should still get to Free Artistry first.

I once did manage to get Sistine, Bach's, Copernicus, Newton's, Shake's and Smith's in a DG 20k game. But it was all in all the best starting position I ever had and the game could have been won easier with every other VC. Not like this one.

Oops, sorry.

Was on holiday over the weekend. Got it, will play tomorrow.

Turn 0, 850 AD:
A bit of MMing to get more shields.
Lux to 30%.
Hastings switch to University to heighten cultural pressure on San Francisco.

IBT:
Music Theory -> Banking

Turn 1, 860 AD:
some more MMing, lux back to 20%.

IBT:
A large deal getting us incense and gpt runs out. No useful option to renew it.

Turn 2, 870 AD:
Switch Canterbury from Palace to Forbidden Palace. I don't think it's useful to switch Jerusalem to Forbidden Palace this late. The Palace gets 2gpt through doubling, the FP wouldn't probably double before this is over.
Have to raise lux to 30% and drop science to 30% due to the gpt deal that ran out.

Turn 3, 880 AD:
nothing special

Turn 4, 890 AD:
nothing special

Turn 5, 900 AD:
Lincoln and Isabella have Metallurgy.

Turn 6, 910 AD:
nothing special

Turn 7, 920 AD:
Found a not so great sport for the settler that set sails to sail the seas.

IBT:
Forbidden Palace done in Canterbury.

Turn 8, 930 AD:
Found Brighton on a three tile island between a mountain and a volcano.
Research up tp 40%.

Turn 9, 940 AD:
nothing special

IBT:
America declares war on us.
No cities lost in the initial attack.

Turn 10, 950 AD:
Ally with Germany against America for 581 gp.
Hurry three Knights.
Move troops to Liverpool.

We should be able to hold all of our cities and maybe strike back in a few turns after Germany got the momentum on their front.

THE SAVE

0- press enter
IBT: Ghandi wants ROP!?! No
1- lots of fighting near Liverpool
2- More fighting
IBT: arabs declares on spain
3- more fighting
IBT: Banking -> Economics, Madrid finishes Cop's
4- nothing much
IBT: :wallbash: Lose Canterbury
5- try to capture back, an extra knight... :sad:

Well, things are going bad in my set. I think I should pass on to avoid any more bad things.
Madrid just built another wonder, which makes 6 to our 3 :(
