Hawklord: I am on holiday from 4th aug to 17th, I am trying to organise getting access to a pc that I can load civ onto for the 2 weeks.

Even when Calis does play his turn, we'll still be down for awhile in this one.

Good news is I bought laptop so I have access while away
bad news is I can't get any civ to work properly on vista.
I will continue to try but if I cant find a solution its gonna be next week.
Sorry guys, anybody got any ideas? I managed to get basic civs in but patches stop them working.

That's good news, Hawklord! But I stayed with XP (the change over was happening when I bought mine). If I find anyhing useful I'll post here.

OK sorted civ III, set exe files to run as admin and it is OK now.
Only the save serems to be the wrong one have emailed calis for right one
