No worries, I never go on holiday, ever
I just went for my first holiday in 5yrs, and it was only for 2 nights! Think the longest my computer has been down in 5yrs is 24hrs as well.

Bobv2: There's a second game going. Both Calis & I are in game 2 to fill out the roster. I'm sure you'll be able to have one of our spots. I'll check with the map maker and see if they's assigned the teams for the 2nd map yet. If he has you'll probably have to use the ones we chose (I'm Iroquois & Mayans and Calis is Dutch & Russia). I'll also check with Calis as to who'll be giving you his spot.
As for the AW, neither game is set as AW, but you are welcome play that way if you wish. In all likelyhood contact will occur late AA at the earliest and and more likely mid-late Middle Ages.
To answer your PBEM expierence question, this would be my fifth game, though 4 of those have started since Sept 1 and only the first on is into the Middle Ages.

Didn't get a chance to make the maps over the weekend. I ended up being a bit busier than I expected. I now plan on creating them either tonight or tomorrow night so you have a little bit longer to finalize the rosters.
I did get a chance to plan out the maps on paper and I think you'll enjoy them thoroughly!

Nope, we've got a volunteer (GBNO1FAN) who'se creating maps with balanced starts so each player won't be given an unwinnable start.
