Computer is down and sent to manufacturer. Will be checking in occasionally, but It will be difficult or impossible to find a computer to install CIV3 on. Making this post from a library in West Virginia now.

Hey,

After having my C3C complete disc destoried & a replacement bought.
I have found that the PC Gamer version made in the UK is not working.
It only shows the install screen after begin installed already.

I need to buy a new "Old Faraxis only C3C complete". So I will need
another week or less to find one.

Sorry about the hassle.

@Denyd, I believe you have my password so if you would like to find
A replacement that is fine. I would like to continue but that is your
call.

I'm willing to wait as long as you need. I'm already waiting for Knutis to get back from a 3 week bike trip in Europe and Cyc to get his laptop replaced (in 4 games with me).

Just to let the other players know, I realize that life has it's ups and downs and there are times when a Civ PBEM just isn't at the top of the list. As long as you keep in touch and let us know what's happening I'm willing to be patient. On my first 7 PBEM games 6 of them died when one of the players just disappeared and the seventh went when the game file got corrupted. That's one of the reasons I'm sponsoring so many games. If someone just falls off the planet, I've got their password and get (hopefully) get a replacement. There's nothing more frustrating than spending 4-5 months on a game only to have one of the players disappear and the game dies.

I'm here to apologize again. My laptop has been repaired and shipped home, but I am still on the road. Now in a library in Memphis. I was supposed to home this week, boss my boss just screwed me over. It may be another week. If you guys need to boot me, I can just curl up in a corner and die peacefully. Just kidding. I will keep in touch.
