A lot of games like Ark and Minecraft have the ability to create dedicated or headless servers that people can connect to at any time. Is the cloud game option the only way to play multiplayer where players come and go at their leisure, or has anyone found a way to run a server, maybe like in a docker or something, to act as the host, allowing players to play their turns without the need for the map to reload every time the way it does with the cloud matches?
