I had a defensive pact with Greece and Poland. Both were at war with Netherlands. I paid Greece to declare war on Poland since I wanted to see what kind of total mess I could create around Amsterdam.
Once Greece agreed, war was declared on Poland, and then Greece and I were at war since I had a defensive with Poland. This was not what I had intended and I shut down the game.
I returned the next day and loaded up. Greece and Poland are at war, but I am no longer at war with Greece. I feel like I've cheated a bit but it's fun watching the complete mess unfold. The Dutch are putting up a really great fight and now the two powers are fighting each other to get to Amsterdam. I sit and watch pumping out beautiful works of art and music.
