greeting to all sirs and madams!

mr. richard has made an interesting suggestion about a course on civilization iii.

for those who are willing to waste time on this really fun idea, please contribute. :goodjob: for all we know we might end up with a course outline of sorts that players of all levels can benefit from. and then the moderator is going to kick this thread because its is off-topic in the off-topic section. maybe kick it up to the strategy section.

my proposal:
18 units per semester for 8 semesters.

the first 18 units...
course -- description (credits)

General CIV 101 -- Manual Reading (3)
- we're not going to get anywhere fast educating students who do not have the slightest idea as to the contents of the "basic text book"

City Placement 201 -- OCP vs. ICS (3)
Conflict Management 301 -- Chieftain War Strategy (3)
Economics 401 -- Trading with the Chieftain AI (3)
Science 501 -- Maintaining Research Lead over AI (3)
Religion 601 -- Building happiness improvements (3)
* having a course entitled like this, if we were to propose it to a college in the US , then its done for right from the outset.

indeed sir. interconnecting cities, strategically placing ports, barter and trade, avoiding a budget deficit, apportioning and boosting the national budget. that's economics for you sir.
