Update to 1615AD...
1500AD: Just as I thought the sitiation is hopeless, there was no way to break the allies of the top AIs, Sal made a bold move: he DOWed Liz/Asoka pact!
My worker spotted his SOD mainly Infantry and Cannons, in 2 turns i will be able to give him Artillary. so

1510AD: I am massing Artillary preparing for war. There is a big problem: I have no coal. No coal plant, no rail road, this means my prod capability is quite limited.

1580AD: MM DOWed Brennus, ending his pact with Hammu!
I quickly jumped in within 2 turns thinking I could double MM with Brennus.
1590AD: My initial siege attack went well.

1595AD: Capital pulling the empire in both beaker count and hammer count.

1610AD: I continue laying down the siege hoping to abuse CR artillary. Thought i was well protected with AT and a 1 medic 3 GG for healing.

1610AD: this happens!
MM nukes his own land with my SOD.
Talk about the strong will of an AI!! He is smart enough to drop it on a square that only harms my units but not his SOD in the city!
First time for me, and it reduced my stack strenth severely. His follow up attackes was quite potent including First Bomber/figher air attack, followed by Artillary, then tanks/marines/infantry. He brings out his entire arsonal including most of his force pulled back from the Brennus front. He wipped out half of my force include my defensive GG.

1615AD: Tech chart

1615AD: My small empire.

I reassess the situation and determined that i am too far behind on tech, and given the surprised failed Military campaign sealed my defeat. GG MM!
I had a blast, it was a combination of the map and strong AIs making this game so difficult. I hope to see more effort from other players on this map.
Edit: It prob would make more sense had I built stronger force and go after Hammu, he does not have fission ATM and I could grab one of his multiple Coal. Still I am not sure that would be enough. After revealing the map, I found some Liz/MM/Asoka have settled some large islands away from our main land, MM is actually way larger than his 5 cities i see on our conti, I do not even have a single coastal city. But seeing his humongous navy should be a clue.
