Deity guide

Wow... those conquest/domination strategies are really, really lame. All you've done is rigged the map settings so as to take away the challenge from deity.
I actually agree, whilst I'm not taking any credit away from you for putting the time into these guides, it really takes the fun away from the whole point of the game by abiding by such strict guidelines... plus alot of it just depends on you getting lots of luck via the map generation.

Personally I'd rather just have a random map and use one of the other strategies as opposed to these routines... if I loose... bah.. more fun anyhow, isn't that how civilization is meant to be played?

I think this guide was to give you a Deity win for those who haven't achieved that yet. And since Shadowsong play hall of fame there is competence.

I see you've finished your guide.

Immortals are great units, but you need horse hooked up. If you know the worker lure out, quechua vs 1 archer capital conquest tactic, I think that one will work faster, because you have to build a pasture on top of a horse resource to build Immortals.

But yea, definitely, I think it has much higher chances of winning than 1quechua vs 1 archer in a capital (%18.6 odds). 1 immortal vs a fortified archer has odds +%50 for the immortal.

Which one's safer? Fast doesn't matter for me.

I like Immortals since they have 2 movement points.
