Deity vs my CPU

Its just me, or does anybody have the same issues?
When i play a game with deity (with mods), the ai is building a terrible horde of units, so when it comes to war the game got a ctd( when the ai is in action). In fact, is playing on deity a rape for my cpu, so that i must play on immortal?

Maybe someone can help me with my stupid brain.

Not knowing your system specs, I'd suggest turning down all of the graphics settings and selecting Quick Combat in the advanced game setup. Until we get the option to turn off the unit animations any game that has tons of active units will choke anything short of super computer.
