Dell 4600 need to upgrade a bit

I have a Dell 4800 with a 2.8 gig processor, 512 Ram and a integrated video card. I know I need to upgrade the card but have to admit I don't know very much about video cards at all. I'm not looking for anything to exotic, I don't play too many video games on my PC I just want to be able to play this one. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced card that will give me no issues playing this game? Also do I need to upgrade my Ram as well?
