I think the real reason he nominated you was because the Despot nominated you...he doesn't want his tongue cut off or anything for going against the Despot's wishes.

yep, that usually yeilds me an ENTIRE continent. i keep on building immortals until cav as they are cheap as dirt. same stats for MDI and knight, but 20 and 30 shields less. a little overpowered if you ask me.

ok...bootstoots sent me a PM nominating me, as well. So it seems that nominations are now over. How do we get on with these elections? The nominees are myself and gnomes (unless gnomes' nomination changed to bootstoots in that case we have 3 nominees). Who wants to be my campaign manager? Any groups I can lobby for votes? Vote for me for emperor err president!

Once I get into office my first plan of action will be to take over this democracy by force if need be! We need to strike fear into our enemy and our loyal citizens so that they may worship me at every step of the way. I can see it now...there will be monuments erected in my honor...cities cities named after me...national holidays dedicated to my grand splendor! It will be an extremely festive time. How joyous and indeed lucky will the people be to be ruled by me.

You must first accept your nomination in the Democracy Succession game thread. Once that is completed, I will state that elections are open. The members of the game will vote between gnomes and you by open forum vote (by simply posting their vote in the thread). I will provide an example with my own vote first. The elections will be open for 24 hours or until all votes have been cast.

Okay, elections are now open (and have been for couple hours). Sorry I didn't see this sooner (it was a result of not seeing that there were two pages to this). Just vote for either Despot or beware of gnomes by an open post. Elections will be closed after 24 hours have passed or when all votes are cast.
