I really want to enter the demogame but how should I declare myself a function or to a city if I haven't met anyone who might be mayor or a cabinet member.

You have to make a post in the census thread and put in your info there. As governor of Asphinxia I would invite you to come and live here!! Thebes and Memphis are our biggest cities, Elephantine our most productive!! To get up to speed on what's happening, read the Asphinxian weekly times and if you want some fun, come to the banquet. Easy!!
