Design a role-playing senario

For my first game I'll be role-playing as Outremer, renaming all of my cities after those in the Crusader-State. While not everything will be a recapitulation of the Crusades (this isn't Crusader Kings II, after all), the medieval holy wars are certainly informing some of my decisions.

As a rule, I plan to get the first religion founded, conqueror the Holy City of every other religion, and spread my religion through peaceful proselytizing otherwise, obviously aiming for a Religious Victory.
