I've read the Isabella Game. I'll have to read the others.

SGs are fun, you learn a lot, and you get the camaraderie. Plus you know the folks when you read the tourny and GOTM write ups. BTW, nice job on 5-6 Melifluous It took me till 1778 AD in Conquest and you were done in 1340 AD in Open. I'm impressed!

I think that the Medal games focus the mind well enough to develop explicit strategy for a known goal.

Great advice for SP games, choose a win that you want BEFORE you start the game.
