I was watching gameplay footage 7 on gamespot and when they selected an elephant unit it said: "what do you need?" "yes?" "Awaiting your orders!".
Did anyone else noticed this?

Yes, that's another RTS-ish thing in Civ4. :) Another unit sound I heard is "Everyone is accounted for.".

SWEET! I've been hoping for ages...

Now why don't the pull an AoK and have them say this stuff in their own language? That would be awesome. (perhaps as toggleable).

Hm, don't know if I like this... It can become really annoying in the course of an epic game, especially if you move lots of units on the map... But I guess there'll be an option to toggle this feature off.

I agree. I always thought that added some authenticity, as long as different units say different and appropriate things.

The AoK/AoE language voices weren't always in the right accent, so I've heard...

Granted, you'd need to pay a group of voice actors to do that..

Just terrible...but luckily it can be turned off. Who wants to hear thousands of "affirmatives" during one game? Nobody.

They worked pretty well with CtP IMO :)

Gives you more of a personal 'feeling' with the units.

Who says it will be all the time? Maybe another RNG job (odd number generated is yes, even no?)
