I went to the store yesterday. Diet Pepsi was on sale but Diet Coke was not. So I bought the Diet Pepsi. I usually buy 2 litre bottles. The thing I noticed though is that while Diet Coke pours smooth into most of my glasses, leaving lots of dissolved carbonation, Diet Pepsi reacts as if the glass were a glass made of mentos. Why is this? Is there a difference besides taste between the two major brand's diet beverages?

Buy cans. Better for you, and the Diet pepsi stays fizzy.

But you are right. Diet Pepsi is less fizzy than Diet Coke.

Coca-Cola is so much better. A Coke sounds really good right now. Damn you subliminal advertising!

maybe you were sold a dodgy bottle. what is mentos? anyway, i'm an irn bru fan :D

I bought four bottles. All four bottles were like this. I'm just drinking straight from the last one. Mentos are a type of candy. Rather boring on their own, they can be mixed with a bottle of Diet Coke for humourous results. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qw7ByxX0X8 Adding music during editing makes this youtube clip a worthwhile endeavor for the whole family.

You have adapted to Fifty's avatar well, augurey.

I have too noticed this, it's distressing :hmm: My solution is never EVER drink diet drinks.

I like it. Its a hip, modern up to date version of "Las llamas son mas grande que las ranas"

What kind of crazy llamas do you have in Hanging upside down from a Flycycle?

I prefere Pepsi Cino

re mentos: incredible, i saw someone with a packet of them at work today.
re diet stuff: mmm, tried some diet bru today expecting a lot of froth. turns out it's a lot less lively than the usual stuff.
