Im more of a combination, i like to build almost all improvments in all cities, but then i get bored and conquer sombody, which normally gets everyone else mad at me. In my current game, i annexed the English and French, but the other continent hates me for inexplicable reasons, all did was put an exploring galy there... Anyway, back on topic, i like to build stuff, but then i get bored and conquer people, most of my victories are domination or conquest.

That is a sneaky exploit!

Of course you'll have to pillage all extra source and be careful to not pillage the ones being traded - I think you'll loose access before your exports get cut.

I rarely actually use this exploit, and never when I'm trading that luxury, so I'm not sure if you lose access or the person you are trading with does. The fact that you can trade away your last resource (i.e. trade when you have "0" in the trading screen) makes me think that you won't take a rep hit for pillaging your resources, you'll just lose that resource briefly. Does anybody know which is true?

Most of all I play the King mode. I try to get all City improvements for all city´s and get so independent from all other civ´s. If there is an civ who want´s to break my way I try to get em off.
I make the experiance if once get extorted, the AI come´s back onn and on.

Current I play a game with Rhye´s Mod as an pacifistic Greek. Nobody threads me and i have recource colonys all over the world.

I like this kind of game.
