I get a DirectX Setup Error immediately after beginning Install:
"A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted"
I've followed Microsoft's recommendations for XP (delete temporary internet files, modify ActiveX controls), have updated virus dat files, rebooted etc. but still get the error. It seems to be one of those great and wonderful vague Microsoft errors that could be 100 different things.
I have DirectX v9.0 already. Can I not bypass this step somehow?
Any help would be appreciated.
