Disable espionage in BtS?

I don't want to start a new thread for this, but I wanted to know if there was a way to make a lazy-man's solution to espionage, especially the run counter-espionage mission. I want to be able to tell a city manager to produce spies and then automate them to run a specific mission without bothering me. Maybe even tie into it a success qualifier. Tell the city manager that you want it to run the mission only if the probability is higher than your preset limit. So if you're at war with somebody and want to run counter-espionage, then a limit of 33% success might be acceptable to you. But if it's being conducted against a "friend" then you may want it to have a 90% success level or higher to keep relations on good terms. If the lazy-man controls are possible, maybe even tie them in further to a specific building such as Scotland Yard, Security Bureau, or Intelligence Agency as a prereq.

Another thing I want to be able to automate is setting up a sentry net of spies. I want to be able to tell my Deputy Director of Intelligence where on the map I want spies fortified and then let him manage the production and automation of spies to my specified locations. Again, maybe tie this function into a centralized espionage building like Scotland Yard, Security Bureau, or Intelligence Agency.

Any thoughts on if this is possible?

That's a stupid thing to do IMO. You're just wasting espionage points for nothing.

Did you miss the "settle" part of the advice or do you not understand that settling increases the espionage-per-turn of a city by 12, which can be assigned to ANY civ?

Well yes, sorta kinda did miss that lmao
Laughing as I type

Think one would need to make computers a whole lot more sophisticated than we currently have, for these to work. Or hire someone to play for you lol

I liked most of the new stuff BtS brought, except espionage.
...
Anyway, is there anyway to disable or nerf it? By some ingame options, or some tweaking or a mod or something?

You can turn it off when creating a custom game. Espionage points will be converted to culture then.

You couldn't do this pre patch, however this option was included in the 3.17 patch so this thread is old and pointless
