Been playing for over a year and this is the first time this problem has shown up.
Playing BTS. The particular game I am playing I have made it to the early 20th century and after ending a turn, out of the blue, no units were visible and the areas of the map that I had cleared off showed no shading even though there were areas where I could not see what was happening (like on a different continent in a country in which I did not have enough espionage points to view the cities). Also, the messages showed actions that require diplomacy and I had not received any diplomatic request from the country in question (I was in the middle of a war with a country while waiting for my turn the message at the top showed that I had made peace with the country).
I exited to the main menu and reloaded the last save - when it loaded the problem still existed even though it did not at the time the game was saved.
I rebooted and tried starting a new game - same problem.
-suggestions?
