ooc: I seem to rmemeber a rule of only posting after 2 others have but i cant find it and it was broken in this thread already a few times. I found a rules section but could not find any rule stating either way: Anyone got a link or can set me straight on this? I just really want to reply

My fate is already sealed, as is yours The13thRonin. You are correct that both hold nothing but darkness. Perhaps though you fail as a samurai you might make a good prophet. You have the tongue for it, though perhaps a bit lacking in the wit.

As for your word, why don't you fill the rest of the competitors in on your secret alliance with Nahkarma and what you said about team five... Something to the effect of "Getting rid of the weak." Wasn't it?

Ah, now the ronin resorts to lies. Amusing from one who sees himself as so honorable. I have yet to send anyone a letter, bar a reply to you my good sir. Anyone who cares to call me out on that, be my guest. I do find it amusing that you added the end of that as an afterthought. So we have two scenarios:

1: I was going for a "secret alliance" with ronin but they decided otherwise and then tore his letter to pieces and burned it to anger him. Not very likely.
2: The Ronin is lying. Which i find amusing.... I believe the most likely ones to lie would be the agents. Or perhaps he is just dim in the head? That too could be the case. Either way we are better off without him, no?
3: I was dumb enough to admit to the ronin that i was in a "secret" alliance. Wouldn't be much of a secret would it.

That accusation will cost you my friend. This is exactly the type of reason why your word means nothing.

The Sacred Fist paces around the stadium in his standard angry mood, made no better by Bullshido's words. Finally he turns and pleads towards the crowd.

Is Nahkarma such a coward that others must respond to my challenge for him? Does he have no shame? By virtue of his false faith and her very presence the divine is dishonored. I beg of you all to allow me to cleanse this blasphemer from our presence! It is my duty as the true servant of the divine!

Clearing his throat, the Sacred fist glares at Nahkarma who stands expressionless in the corner.

I fear that we shall have our duel despite your fear, you treacherous apostate, and then we shall see who the gods love. Judging by your silence, am I to take it that you believe they love me more? Renounce your beliefs my 'true believer', and perhaps you will still find salvation... in heaven.

I missed leeks post Thanks. Ronin thing might be because ronin voted to support himself. Those should be 14.2 and 14.2 then yes? or does the 10th of vote get .05 to each?

EDIT: Tolis told me each gets 1.1 vote. So its 1.1 each.

"I will vote for The Sacred Warrior to destroy the Vampyre. The Sacred Warrior and vampyre both seem ready to battle why not have them fight. Sure neither gets target of choice (ronin/Beleiver), but that make it all more interesting.

OOC: I have been busy with a huge presentation today and a test yesterday (I still am busy, final exam tomorrow) so I don't have much time right now

I believe that my actions are guided in the right direction at all times and nothing I do can be wrong, in the grand scheme of things. That being said, I do not believe it is my time for combat. I support myself and vote the vampyre to fight.

A quiet whisper from within the temple...

"It is time master."

The Holy Man lifts his weary bearded head, silky grey glistening in luminous sparkles around the Hall of the Gods.

"So it is" he mumbles.

He rises to the occasion, creaking ageless bones grind, and war-torn muscles stretch; "Pass me my staff!" he shouts to his monk companion.

Walking down the corridors of fame. Hangs to the left and right paintings of his predecessors.

"Should I fall this night it would not be in vain, for my days have been long and I have served you all well"

A thousand steps down to the battlefield and he knows them well. For he has cried on them, bled on them, toiled over them, and has longed for this journey for many a long night.

A cold quiet thought, he has had this thought before, but each time the resentment gets stronger....

"At the battlefield they await, fools them all. For what do they know of war, these mindless children. These eyes have seen hell and more, and I have fought battles long before these minors of war forefather's could even talk. Fools them all, and they for their foolishness they will indeed fall."

Another slaughtering awaits, and he sighs one last time...."maybe my end will come this time." And he reaches for the handle of his sword..."Ahhhh....my son, tis another night for feasting."

With a hollow breath echoed in the fires of the earth, the Holy Man bellows his war-cry....

"Let it be heard you fools of the earth; Your god walks before me and you will fall at my feet, or fall at my sword. But you will indeed fall for there is no greater power than I that stands before you. Let it be known there will be blood on this field tonight.....amen.

"The gods have commanded; our team supports the child neverwonagame for he is our chosen one, and you will know that you have met god's fury when you take your last look from your eyes as his blade draws warm blood from your belly.

Amen"

The Holy Man bows his head in quiet prayer awaiting the slaughter to begin.
