Actually, at this point it was 500-200. You forgot to count Stuck in Pi and tailless' (unbolded) votes.

the issue with that is it generates gold. And you cant really generate gold.

{Take, say, 20g out of the bonus gold given in each morning post. 10g*[current # of players] extra is added to the betting pool for each battle. Effectively, this has the house bet a large sum on the losing combatant, substantially sweetening the betting pool, for both combatants. As long as the gold added in this way is as predictable as the gold added after each morning post, there's no issue. This is the solution that S&F2 used.}

Agree with Chand's mechanism to do so. I thought it was smart enough. Then again, I think the betting system was fine in S&F, though the whole 10% makes things sticky if your net worth posted is not your actual net worth. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S NEGATIVE (like the eku's in S&F). I'd say, create a flat minimum of 50. Or 25.}

Just remember that when I smash the mutant into the dust that your time will come. Unless you think you can take all of us?
