DLL Errors.

I tried to install COD2 on my dad's computer, and it said something about a DLL Error, can someone give me a layman's explanation of what it is and recommended ways of dealing with errors.

What is the exact error? A common dll error is missing or corrupt. Download a copy off the net and place it into the proper folder on your computer. Just google the name you are given and you'll find a copy to download.
